The SEO Analyst is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing comprehensive search engine optimization (SEO) and AI search platform strategies to drive organic traffic, improve search engine rankings, and generate qualified leads for our core banking solutions. This role will approach SEO with a data-driven mindset, continually analyzing performance and adapting strategies to align with evolving search algorithms, AI search platforms, and business objectives. The SEO Analyst collaborates closely with content, development, product, and marketing teams to ensure a fully integrated and high-impact organic search presence
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a robust SEO strategy, encompassing on-page, off-page, and technical SEO, to achieve ambitious organic growth targets.
- Conduct in-depth keyword research to identify high-potential opportunities, inform content strategy, and optimize existing web assets for both traditional search engines and AI search platforms.
- Perform regular technical SEO audits to identify and resolve issues related to crawlability, indexability, site speed, mobile-friendliness, and site architecture.
- Collaborate with the content team to optimize existing content and guide the creation of new, SEO-friendly content that resonates with our target audience and addresses their pain points, ensuring it is optimized for discoverability by large language models (LLMs) and AI summarizers.
- Develop and implement effective link-building strategies to enhance domain authority and organic search visibility.
- Monitor and analyze SEO performance using various tools, providing actionable insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Stay continuously updated with the latest search engine algorithm changes, advancements in AI search technology, industry trends, and SEO best practices, adapting strategies proactively.
- Work closely with web development and IT teams to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into website design, development, and maintenance.
- Partner with marketing and sales teams to align SEO efforts with lead generation goals, ensuring organic traffic contributes effectively to the sales funnel.
- Manage and optimize SEO tools and platforms, ensuring accurate data collection and reporting.
- Oversee the implementation of relevant schema markup (e.g., Product, Organization, FAQ schema) to enhance rich snippet visibility in SERPs and improve content understanding for AI search.
Qualifications
- 5 - 7 years of proven experience in managing SEO strategies. Good to have exposure within the B2B enterprise software, SaaS, or IT consulting industry.
- Strong understanding of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, technical SEO principles, and how content is processed and presented by AI search platforms.
- Proficiency with leading SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Screaming Frog, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager, and familiarity with tools or strategies for AI content optimization.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute comprehensive SEO plans that drive measurable organic traffic and lead generation.
- Experience with content optimization, keyword mapping, and on-page SEO best practices, including optimization for LLM-based search interfaces.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating complex SEO concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple SEO initiatives simultaneously.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment with development, content, product, and sales teams.
- Proactive, self-starter with a high degree of initiative and critical thinking skills.
