Accountant – Job Description

An Accountant is responsible for managing and maintaining the financial records of an organization to ensure accuracy, compliance, and effective financial operations. They handle day-to-day accounting tasks, prepare reports, and support financial decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and statements.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Knowledge of Internet Banking.
  • Process invoices, payments, and payroll
  • Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses.
  • Proficient in Tally and capable of managing complete accounts.
  • Monitor financial transactions and ensure proper documentation.
  • Support audits by providing necessary financial data.
  • Ability to handle staff payroll efficiently.
  • Minimum relevant experience required.

Skills & Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, etc.)
  • Strong knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles
  • Excellent analytical and numerical skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
