Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Plant HR Head, located in Sagwara, Rajasthan. The position involves overseeing and managing human resource operations at the plant level, ensuring employee welfare, and creating a safe and inclusive work environment. Key responsibilities include managing recruitment, employee relations, training & development, compliance with labor laws, and assisting in organizational strategies to improve overall productivity and harmony.

1. Workforce Planning & Talent Management

  • Manage manpower planning for staff, workers, and contract labour.
  • Ensure timely hiring, onboarding, and skill mapping.
  • Drive training programs to enhance shop-floor capability.

2. HR Operations & Payroll

  • Oversee attendance, shift management, overtime control, and leave administration.
  • Ensure accurate payroll inputs and timely salary disbursement.
  • Maintain HRIS and employee master data accuracy.

3. Industrial Relations (IR) & Employee Relations (ER)

  • Maintain positive employee relations with workers, unions, and contractors.
  • Manage disciplinary actions, domestic inquiries, grievance handling.
  • Ensure harmonious IR climate and zero downtime due to HR issues.

4. Statutory Compliance

  • Ensure 100% compliance with labour laws (Factories Act, CLRA, ESIC, PF, Bonus, Gratuity, Shops & Establishment, etc.).
  • Ensure contractor compliance – agreements, wage registers, muster rolls, audits.
  • Handle inspections by government authorities.

5. Health, Safety & Welfare

  • Partner with EHS for safety trainings, audits, accident reporting.
  • Oversee canteen, transport, medical facilities, and overall welfare of employees.
  • Run POSH compliance and awareness sessions.

6. Performance & Culture

  • Drive PMS cycle at plant – goal setting, reviews, appraisals.
  • Improve plant culture through engagement initiatives.
  • Manage employee communication – townhalls, suggestion schemes, R&R.

7. MIS & Reporting

  • Publish monthly HR dashboards – manpower, attrition, overtime, absenteeism, training hours, compliance status.
  • Highlight risks, trends, and improvement plans to management.

8. General Administration

  • Oversee security, housekeeping, transport, and facility management in coordination with Admin.
  • Support audits – ISO, customer audits, internal audits.

Qualifications & Experience

  • MBA/PGDM in HR or equivalent.
  • 8–15 years of HR/IR experience in textile manufacturing plants is a must.
