Experience Required: 2–3 years (Must have experience in both School Admin & Construction Admin)
Role Overview
Young India Polic School is hiring for versatile Admin Manager who has handled administrative operations in both educational institutions (schools) and construction project environments. The ideal candidate should be flexible, organized, and capable of coordinating with academic teams as well as site teams.
This role involves managing school facilities and campus operations while also supporting construction/renovation projects, vendor coordination, compliance, and documentation.
Key Responsibilities
School Administration Responsibilities
- Oversee daily school campus operations including housekeeping, security, transport, and maintenance.
- Coordinate with Principal, teaching staff, and support staff for administrative needs.
- Manage school assets, inventory, classrooms, labs, and building maintenance.
- Support admission activities, event coordination, parent communication, and staff arrangements.
- Maintain student attendance logs, staff attendance coordination, and ID card issuance.
- Ensure campus safety, cleanliness, and regulatory compliance.
Construction Administration Responsibilities
- Support construction/renovation projects happening on campus or other sites.
- Coordinate with contractors, engineers, vendors, and labour teams.
- Handle site logistics, labour records, safety documentation, permit files, and compliance registers.
- Track material deliveries, maintain stock registers, and assist in procurement processes.
- Prepare documentation for project compliance, audits, and statutory requirements.
Vendor & Procurement Coordination
- Liaise with vendors for housekeeping, security, construction materials, repairs, uniforms, transport, etc.
- Invite quotations, prepare comparison sheets, and support purchase decisions.
- Verify vendor bills and follow up with accounts for timely payments.
Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain statutory documents, AMC agreements, safety certificates, fire compliance, and municipal records.
- Ensure labour compliance for construction workers (ID, PF/ESI documents, attendance records).
- Maintain administrative files, contracts, transport records, and facility maintenance logs.
People & Operations Management
- Supervise support staff: housekeeping, security, drivers, lab attendants, and site helpers.
- Resolve operational issues across campus and construction sites.
- Coordinate facilities during school events, examinations, and parent programs.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Graduate in Administration, Management, or relevant field.
- 2–3 years of experience, with exposure to both school admin and construction admin.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Knowledge of vendor management, asset tracking, and compliance documentation.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to multitask and manage operations across school and construction sites.
Preferred Skills
- Basic knowledge of safety norms and school compliance requirements.
- Experience handling contractors, labour suppliers, and facility teams.
- Ability to draft SOPs and administrative formats for school and site operations.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹50, ₹55,000.00 per month
