We're seeking a Senior Detailer to lead projects, mentor juniors, and elevate our studio's reputation for flawless results.

• Key ResponsibilitiesPerform advanced interior and exterior detailing services, including deep cleaning, vacuuming, steam extraction, leather conditioning, and engine bay restoration.
• Execute exterior treatments such as clay bar decontamination, machine polishing, buffing, waxing, and application of protective coatings (e.g., ceramic or PPF).
• Conduct thorough pre- and post-service inspections to ensure vehicles meet or exceed studio standards and client expectations.
• Diagnose and address vehicle imperfections, such as swirl marks, oxidation, or stains, using specialized tools and compounds.
• Train and supervise junior detailers, sharing best practices and ensuring team efficiency.
• Maintain inventory of detailing supplies, equipment, and studio cleanliness; report any issues to management.
• Collaborate with clients to understand custom needs, provide expert recommendations, and deliver personalized service.
• Adhere to safety protocols for chemical handling and equipment use; promote sustainable practices.
• Track job progress, update client records, and contribute to studio marketing (e.g., before/after photos).
• Qualifications & SkillsExperience: 3 years in professional automotive detailing, with proven expertise in advanced techniques (e.g., paint correction, ceramic application). Prior supervisory or lead roles preferred.
• Knowledge: Deep understanding of vehicle materials (e.g., paint types, fabrics, alloys) and detailing products/tools (e.g., dual-action polishers, steam cleaners). Certification in detailing (e.g., IDA or similar) is a plus.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in varying conditions (indoor/outdoor).
• Soft Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and strong communication for client interactions and team leadership. Reliable, punctual, and passionate about cars.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; automotive or vocational training beneficial.
• Other: Valid driver's license; clean background check required. Must be comfortable with high-volume workloads and occasional weekend shifts.
