Role Description

This is a
full-time, on-site position
based in
Bengaluru
for an
Electrical Design Engineer
.

The candidate will be responsible for
designing electrical control systems
and preparing detailed engineering documentation, including
BOMs (Bill of Materials), DAPs (Design Approval Packages), IO lists, and wiring diagrams
. The role also involves
developing panel layouts, power distribution designs, and schematic drawings
using tools such as
EPLAN
and
AutoCAD
.

The Electrical Design Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams, review technical specifications, ensure compliance with
industry standards
, and contribute to the
optimization and standardization
of electrical designs for automation and control projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop electrical control panels and wiring diagrams.
  • Prepare detailed
    BOMs
    ,
    IO lists
    ,
    cable schedules
    , and
    terminal plans
    .
  • Create and manage
    EPLAN or AutoCAD
    drawings for electrical design documentation.
  • Develop
    Design Approval Packages (DAP)
    and ensure documentation accuracy.
  • Coordinate with mechanical, software, and project teams to ensure seamless integration.
  • Review and interpret technical specifications, standards, and client requirements.
  • Support testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning activities when required.
  • Ensure all designs comply with
    industrial standards and safety regulations
    .

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in
    Electrical Engineering
    or a related field.
  • Proven experience in
    electrical design
    within
    automation or control systems
    industries.
  • Strong knowledge of
    BOM preparation, IO list creation, DAP documentation
    , and
    EPLAN/AutoCAD design
    .
  • Proficiency in
    EPLAN
    ,
    AutoCAD Electrical
    , or equivalent electrical design tools.
  • Strong understanding of
    power distribution
    ,
    control circuits
    , and
    industrial standards
    .
  • Excellent
    problem-solving skills
    ,
    attention to detail
    , and
    documentation accuracy
    .
  • Good
    communication skills in English
    and ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines efficiently.
