Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and quality-focused QA Engineer with 34 years of experience, primarily in manual testing and load/performance testing using JMeter. The ideal candidate will be proficient in test planning, execution, and documentation, with a good understanding of functional and performance test strategies. Experience in automation testing will be considered an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough manual testing of web and mobile applications

Design and execute test cases, test scenarios, and checklists based on functional requirements

Perform load and performance testing using Apache JMeter, analyze results, and share findings

Log and track bugs effectively using Jira

Participate in requirement analysis, test planning, and sprint ceremonies

Collaborate closely with developers and product teams to ensure timely defect resolution

Maintain test documentation and ensure test coverage

Contribute to automation test suites where applicable (Selenium/Java preferred)

Key Skills Required:

3-4 years of experience in manual testing (functional, UI, regression)

Strong hands-on experience with Apache JMeter for performance/load testing

Familiarity with Jira for test case management and bug tracking

Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies

Basic understanding of automation frameworks (Selenium, TestNG, or similar)

Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

ISTQB certification is a plus.
