Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day activities related to the general ledger accounting function
  • Prepare, review, and post journal entries ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
  • Perform monthly closing, including account reconciliations and variance analysis
  • Maintain and reconcile balance sheet and income statement accounts
  • Ensure accuracy in financial reporting and compliance with GAAP / IFRS (as applicable)
  • Proficient in utilizing client ERP systems such as Yardi, MRI, and JOE to perform a wide range of property accounting functions.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel
    Flexible to work in the EST/CST/PST time zones as per business requirements

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education: B.COM / M.COM / MBA(Finance) / CA (Inter) / Any equivalent degree in commerce and accounting.
  • Accounting Knowledge: Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial management.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong numerical aptitude with attention to detail.
  • Tech Proficiency: Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with accounting software is a plus.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Eagerness to Learn: Passion for building a career in property accounting.
