Role & Responsibilities:

  1. Database Development: Design, develop, and maintain Oracle databases, ensuring their reliability, security, and performance.
  2. SQL and PL/SQL Programming: Write and optimize SQL and PL/SQL code for data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.
  3. Stored Procedures and Triggers: Develop and implement stored procedures, functions, and triggers to support business rules and processes.
  4. Performance Tuning: Monitor and optimize database performance, including query tuning and resource management.
  5. Data Modeling: Collaborate in designing data models, both logical and physical, to support business applications.
  6. Documentation: Maintain clear and concise documentation for database designs, processes, and changes.
  7. Collaboration: Work closely with application developers and other stakeholders to align database designs with application needs.
  8. Support and Troubleshooting: Provide support for database-related issues, troubleshooting and resolving problems as they arise.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

  1. Experience: 0 to 5 years of experience in database development with a focus on SQL and PL/SQL.
  2. Technical Skills: Proficient in Oracle database management, Oracle 11G experience is a plus, and familiarity with performance tuning techniques.
  3. Educational Background: Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred.
  4. Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities with an analytical mindset to troubleshoot issues efficiently.
  5. Team Dynamics: Ability to function well in a collaborative team environment, interacting effectively with various team members.
  6. Adaptability: Willingness to learn new technologies and methodologies as needed.
