Key Responsibilities :- Design, develop, and maintain complex database objects such as procedures, functions, packages, triggers, and views using PL/SQL.- Optimize SQL queries and database performance through advanced tuning techniques.- Develop and implement data models, ensuring scalability, integrity, and best practices in database design.- Work closely with application developers, business analysts, and architects to support application/database integration.- Perform root cause analysis and provide solutions for performance bottlenecks, data inconsistencies, and production issues.- Ensure adherence to data governance, security, and compliance Skills :- Strong expertise in PL/SQL programming (Oracle or equivalent RDBMS).- Hands-on experience in Performance Tuning, Query Optimization, and Execution Plans.- Proficiency in Data Modeling (conceptual, logical, and physical) and database design principles.- Experience with ETL processes, stored procedures, and large-scale databases.- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.- Familiarity with Agile/DevOps practices will be an added advantage.Good to Have :- Exposure to cloud databases (AWS RDS, Azure SQL, or GCP).- Experience with automation and scripting (Shell, Python, etc.).- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts.
