Description

For this role, we are looking for passionate performance engineers with excellent technical and communication skills. This role provides you opportunities to work on Performance testing & engineering of various software applications and technologies at Apple IS&T in many business segments. This position requires a self-motivated individual with strong programming and communication skills. As a SAP Performance Engineer, you'll need to work with development engineers and functional analysts, understand new cutting edge software, and identify performance tuning opportunities. You'll work on emerging technologies like BTP as you design and conduct performance tests. You should have in-depth knowledge and experience of performance testing, troubleshooting and analysis.","responsibilities":"Define, develop and apply performance/scalability benchmarks.

Work in cross-functional teams to characterize, debug, and improve system performance and scalability.

Work efficiently with various profiling tools to identify performance bottlenecks and provide root cause analysis.

Plan and execute performance tests using an automated testing environment and conduct analysis of results.

Preferred Qualifications

Certifications like AWS Solutions Architect and GCP Associate Cloud Engineer is a plus.

Masters Degree is a plus.

Working knowledge of Agile or Scrum software development methodologies.

Experience in Cloud-based platforms like AWS and GCP.

Code management using Git.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering or other relevant major.

Minimum 5+ years of proven expertise delivering high-performance SAP enterprise solutions at scale.

Proficiency in performance optimization, monitoring, and tuning for SAP S/4HANA and Business Technology Platform (BTP) applications

Proven experience in SAP production workload analysis and performance testing for S/4HANA migrations

Experience in data analysis, visualization, end-to-end performance and root cause analysis.

Strong knowledge of Oracle & SAP HANA Databases with proven SQL query performance tuning skills

Strong knowledge of one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, ABAP, Java).

Experience in performance testing tools - Loadrunner Enterprise, Apache JMeter.

Experience with application performance monitoring platforms (Dynatrace, AppDynamics).

Experience in using AI/ML capabilities into performance testing & engineering lifecycle
