Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive branch-level business targets with a strong focus on liability product mobilization (FDs, RDs) and third-party product sales (life/general insurance, mutual funds, etc.).
  • Strategically grow the retail deposit base by building long-term relationships with HNIs, retail customers, and SMEs.
  • Promote cross-selling of financial products to maximize customer wallet share and enhance profitability.
  • Ensure end-to-end branch operations including customer onboarding, KYC, documentation, and service delivery.
  • Achieve high levels of customer retention, service satisfaction, and product penetration through personalized banking experience.
  • Lead, train, and motivate the branch team to perform across liabilities, third-party distribution, and customer service.
  • Build strong relationships with local influencers, corporate clients, and business partners for referral generation and business development.
  • Monitor compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements (RBI, SEBI, IRDAI).
  • Ensure audit readiness, risk mitigation, and adherence to all operational and service standards.
  • Report branch performance, product-wise sales, customer feedback, and market insights to senior leadership.
  • Collaborate with product and marketing teams to execute local promotional campaigns and financial literacy drives.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Graduate/Postgraduate in Business, Finance, or related fields (MBA/CFP preferred).
  • 3-10 years of experience in BFSI/NBFC, with strong exposure to liability product mobilization and third-party distribution.
  • Deep understanding of retail banking products, customer engagement, and sales strategies.
  • Proven track record in leading teams, achieving branch-level deposit and fee income targets.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and regulatory awareness skills.
