Brief Description about the Project

This study underline work in maternal and child health involving pregnant mothers, infants and school children, particularly addressing the nutrition during pregnancy and body composition in infants and school children.

Project Technician Support- II

No. of Vacancy: Five

Preferred Qualifications: BSW / Diploma / BSc Life Sciences or Field Worke

Experience: 1-2 years of experience

Age Limit: 30 Years

Language: English, Kannada, Tamil (optional) , Hindi(optional)

Salary: Rs.26,000/-per month

Location: Bangalore

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in identifying and recruiting pregnant women and newborns as per the study's eligibility criteria.
  • Conduct home visits and follow-up calls to ensure participant retention and data collection.
  • Support the team in collecting anthropometric measurements of the infants and mothers.
  • Maintain proper records of participant visits and follow-ups.
  • Accompany study staff during home visits and clinical site assessments.
  • Ensure that data is collected as per standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Maintain confidentiality of participant data and follow ethical research guidelines.
  • Assist in the transportation and safekeeping of research materials and equipment.
  • Help with setting up materials for assessments and documentation.
  • Similar effort will be done in schools.
