Its Freight Cars serve a host of core industries like Cement, Steel, Defence, Fertilizer, Oil, Alumina, Thermal Power Projects, Chemical Plants, etc. Over the years, the Company has entered into technical collaborations with renowned Multinationals of Japan, U.S.A, U.K, Germany, Australia, Austria, Holland, etc. for developing and expanding its product portfolio. Texmaco has a very successful Joint Venture with Wabtec Corporation USA and this partnership introduces advanced products like Draft Gear, Bogie-mounted Brake Systems, and Friction Products to the Indian market. Texmaco has pioneered the railway business among African Nations under Lines of Credit (LoC) and EXIM Bank funding. The company has supplied specialized freight cars to countries such as Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Senegal, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Mozambique, Mali, Cameroon, Rwanda, and Liberia. The company is strongly looking at the other component business which could be for India as well as exports to overseas markets and in this regard, a new strategic business unit has been formed. With the acquisition of 51% stake in Saira Asia - a railway interior company with international customers like Bombardier, Alstom and Hyundai-Rotem in its portfolio & the acquisition of 100% stake in Jindal Rail Infrastructure for Rs 615 crore - largest in the history of India's rolling stock industry, Texmaco shall significantly ramp up its manufacturing capacity, making it the largest producer of wagons in India and shall also soon enter into the mobility segment with huge potential in modernization projects like Vande Bharat and forthcoming Metro Rail opportunities.

Major Duties / Roles & Responsibilities:

• Develop new and maintain existing customer relationships.
• Assisting & generating project/business opportunities and RFP's through customer contact to meet company's business plans and growth strategies.
• Assist in implementing the company's Business Development plans.
• Assist in making formal presentations on TREL to specified customers.
• Analyzing tender documents and preparation of technical submissions.
• Assist in handling Government clients like Indian Railways, DFCC and Metros.
• Assisting in handling the tender related activities (National and International)
• Assist in
  making proposals, presentations, for alliances and joint ventures.
• Ensure all communication with customers are in accordance with our client's standards and correct in content and format.
• Maintain customer/potential customer contact lists.
• Assist in coordinating & interacting with Apex industry organizations.
• Assist in coordinating & interacting with the Embassies and High Commissions in India & Overseas.
• Assist in coordinating & interacting with the Office of Senior Functionaries of different Ministries and Departments in the Central and State Governments.
• Accompany Chief Executive (CBD) and MD & CEO in his business meetings in Delhi.

Personal Attributes / Skills:

• A Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a reputed Institute.
• MBA in Marketing would be preferred, from a reputed Institute.
• Around 10 years of corporate experience in Business Development.
• Familiarity in handling with mid to large size technical Projects.
• Technical expertise and comprehensive knowledge of Engineering,
  Business Development & Marketing.
