Role & responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled Cyber Security speciallist with strong expertise in Microsoft 365 Security Suite and Azure. This role is ideal for a professional who can design, implement, and optimize secure cloud solutions for a growing managed services environment.

The primary focus will be Office 365 security hardening, compliance, and endpoint management, with opportunities to contribute to broader Azure-based projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement Office 365 security solutions, including:

  • Microsoft Entra ID (Identity & Access Management)

  • Microsoft Defender Suite (Endpoint, Email, Cloud Apps)
  • Microsoft Intune (Device & App Management)

  • Microsoft Purview / Compliance (DLP, Information Protection)

  • Configure and manage E5 security features for advanced threat protection.

  • Lead O365/Azure security assessments and recommend best practices.
  • Implement conditional access, MFA, and identity governance policies.
  • Support endpoint security, compliance baselines, and mobile device management.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure solutions align with security and business requirements.
  • Document architecture, configurations, and operational procedures.
  • Communicate with Clients on timely bases

Required Skills & Experience

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Office 365 administration & security.

  • Proven expertise in:

  • Azure Active Directory / Entra ID

  • E5 Security Stack (Defender, Purview, Compliance)
  • Intune device management

  • Conditional Access & MFA

  • Strong understanding of cloud security design and implementation.

  • Experience creating technical documentation and solution designs.
  • Ability to work independently and manage deliverables in a contract-based capacity.
  • Microsoft certifications (e.g., SC-300, MS-500, AZ-104) are an asset.

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Experience with Azure infrastructure (VMs, Networking, RBAC).
  • Exposure to hybrid environments (on-prem AD + Azure AD).
  • Familiarity with NIST/CIS or ISO security frameworks.

Work Environment & Timings

  • EST Canadian time Zone work timings
  • Remote work only
  • Must work cordially with IT Engineers, Coordinators and Stake Holders
