Job Summary:

Responsible for mechanical maintenance of dairy processing and packaging equipment. Ensures plant machinery and utilities run efficiently with minimal downtime, while maintaining safety and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage preventive & breakdown maintenance of mechanical systems.
  • Maintain dairy plant equipment: pasteurizers, homogenizers, separators, pumps, and conveyors.
  • Oversee utilities: boilers, chillers, compressors, and refrigeration systems.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical faults to reduce downtime.
  • Maintain maintenance records and spares inventory.
  • Lead and train the mechanical maintenance team.
  • Support installation and commissioning of new machinery.
  • Ensure mechanical safety compliance and audit readiness.

Key Skills:

  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting in dairy/FMCG environment.
  • Knowledge of utility systems and plant maintenance best practices.
  • Familiarity with TPM, 5S, CMMS, and safety protocols.
  • Team handling and interdepartmental coordination.

Preferred Certifications:

  • Industrial Safety / Mechanical Maintenance Training
  • TPM or Lean Maintenance exposure (preferred)
