**Objectives of this Role**:

- Develop 2D drawings (AUTOCAD) of design specifications for mechanical piping and components.
- Use CAD programs to combine schematics and design data into accurate 2D & 3D models.
- Produce plot plan drawings, including detailed views and sections, ensuring all dimensions, and materials are specified accurately.
- Interpret technical specifications, engineering notes, sketches, and design concepts to develop detailed mechanical drawings
- Analyze design documents and plans to verify dimensions and materials and coordinate with engineers to resolve any errors.
- Conduct thorough self-checks and peer reviews to ensure all drawings meet project specifications and quality standards
- Update and revise existing drawings as required, maintaining a record of changes and version history.
- Maintain organized records of all drawings, including original designs, revisions, and final versions.
- Adhere to company-specific drafting standards and procedures, maintaining consistency across all project drawings.
- Assist engineers during initial planning by creating on-the-fly design sketches and models for analysis and modification.
- Collaborate with design team to identify design problems and develop effective solutions.
- Generation of P&ID & layouts of Fire Water Pump Room, Sprinkler & Spray system, Fire Detection & Alarm System and HVAC ducting layouts with minimum supervision.
- Preparation of BOM for complete project.
- Provide technical support to the manufacturing and construction teams, addressing any queries or issues related to the drawings.
- Development of As Built drawings with respect to actual site conditions.
- Clash resolution on BIM software like Navisworks and REVIT MEP.

**Qualifications Required**:

- Typically requires** 4-6 years of experience** in the MEP drafting domain for various Industrial and Commercial projects.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in related technical field (Mechanical/Electrical/Fire).
- Proficiency in Auto-CAD/REVIT. (Certifications required)
- Strong understanding of mechanical piping.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in drafting.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
