Join us in this exciting role as a "AVP – Lead Credit Risk Financial Analyst". Project Eagle is a strategic enhancement program designed to provide a holistic overhaul of Advanced Internal Ratings Based (AIRB) credit models used within the Barclays Corporate and Investment Bank (CIB) Wholesale portfolio.
To be successful in this role as a "AVP – Lead Credit Risk Financial Analyst", you should possess the following skillsets:
- Development and execution of data provisioning from various sources for counterparties, including internal systems, external databases, and third-party vendors (CapIQ, Moody's, Refinitiv).
- Significant experience in demonstrating steer, excellence and proactive leadership in transformation projects.
- Monitor compliance of policies and procedures relative to operational and regulatory risk exposure..
- Build and implement the risk management strategies for the gaps & weaknesses identified.
- Design and implement controls that are designed effectively and operate efficiently to proactively manage risk.
- Communication of key findings and observations to the team manager to improve overall control efficiency and provide corrective actions.
- Build/ Establish Key Risk Indicator framework to ensure appropriateness of Metrics and KPIs.
- Perform reviews and deep dives into Emerging risk areas to provide holistic and meaningful solutions for risk mitigation & process improvement.
- Development and document Control & Operational Risk Evaluation mapping through participation in end-to-end process walkthroughs and deep dives with program/project managers.
- Drive proactive risk culture and conduct training and awareness.

This role is based in our Noida office.
Purpose of the role
To gather, analyse, and present risk data in a clear and concise manner to stakeholders across the organisation, facilitating informed decision-making, risk mitigation, and regulatory compliance.
Accountabilities
- Development and maintenance of a variety of risk reports, including credit, market, operational, and liquidity risk reports, and regulatory reports.
- Extraction of risk data from various sources, including internal systems, risk models, and external market data feeds.
- Analysis of risk data to identify trends, patterns, and outliers, and assess the impact of risk exposures.
- Monitoring key risk indicators and metrics to identify emerging risks and track the effectiveness of risk mitigation strategies.
- Development and implementation of risk reporting improvements and automation initiatives.
