Sr Investment Risk Analyst

We are seeking a proficient and detail-oriented Investment Risk Analyst with in-depth knowledge of investments and financial markets. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in financial market terminology and possess a strong background in risk analysis. This role entails a key focus on Apply knowledge of investment products and processes to create value-added content independently and work upon regular and analytics needs. The Investment Risk Analyst will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely reporting to support informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

·       Utilize expertise in investments and financial markets to assess risk factors associated with investment portfolios.

·       Manage and manipulate data across our platform, to support oversight functions of senior team members and to investigate data issues.

·       Provide oversight to recurring risk governance processes, ensuring proper record retention logs, such as for weekly monitoring, data quality, project lists, and periodic investment risk reviews.

·       Contribute thought leadership to our team's operating model, applying a mindset of continuous improvement.

·       Develop and maintain automated reporting systems for Daily, Monthly and Weekly risk assessments.

·       Ensuring regular delivery of various reports to stakeholders on timely basis.

·       Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary data for reporting purposes.

·       Create comprehensive and visually informative dashboards to present risk metrics and insights by using visualization tools like Tableau.

·       Employ VBA programming, Python, Excel, MS Access and other relevant tools to enhance reporting efficiency and automation.

·       Provide actionable recommendations based on risk analysis to optimize investment strategies.

·       Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging automation technologies.

Qualifications and Requirements:

·       Bachelor's/master's degree in finance, Economics, Business, or a related field. MBA, CFA, FRM preferred.

·       Proven experience as an Investment Risk Analyst or similar role in the financial markets.

·       Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.

·       Thorough understanding of investment products, financial market terminology, and risk management concepts.

·       Ability to manage multiple tasks & Ability to work independently.

·       Should be client-focused and possess strong prioritization skills.

·       Should have problem solving, planning and analytical skills to facilitate and focus on continuous improvement and innovation

·       Proficiency in automation tools like VBA Programming, Python, Excel and in visualization tools like Tableau.

·       Advanced Excel skills, including the ability to manipulate and analyze complex datasets.

·       Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.

·       Excellent communication skills to convey risk analysis findings to diverse audiences.

·       Attention to detail and the ability to meet tight reporting deadlines.
