Job Summary:

Boolean Data is seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Snowflake Developer to join our advanced data engineering team. As a senior member, you will lead the design and implementation of high-performance cloud data warehouse solutions, mentor junior developers, and play a key role in scaling our Snowflake infrastructure to meet

growing data demands.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect and develop scalable data solutions using Snowflake Cloud Data Platform.
  • Design and optimize complex SQL queries, data models, and data pipelines for performance and cost efficiency.
  • Implement ETL/ELT workflows integrating diverse data sources using tools like dbt, Informatica, Matillion, etc.
  • Ensure best practices in data governance, security, and compliance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Data Engineers, BI Developers, and Business Analysts.
  • Guide and mentor junior developers and help establish development standards and practices.
  • Participate in performance tuning, capacity planning, and cost optimization efforts in Snowflake.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation and support deployment via CI/CD pipelines.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering or Cloud Data Warehousing.
  • 3+ years of deep, hands-on experience working with Snowflake.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL, data modeling, data warehousing concepts, and cloud architecture.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Proficiency in ETL/ELT tools and workflow orchestration (e.g., Airflow, dbt, Informatica, Talend).
  • Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python for automation and data transformations.
  • Strong problem-solving, debugging, and performance tuning skills.
  • Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices in data environments.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or in a team setting.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Snowflake certifications (e.g., SnowPro Core or Advanced).
  • Experience working with real-time data pipelines or streaming data (Kafka, Kinesis, etc.).
  • Exposure to data privacy regulations (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.) and compliance frameworks.
