About the role:

We are looking for an experienced
Snowflake Developer
to design, develop, and optimize scalable data solutions that enable efficient analytics and business insights. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in
Snowflake, SQL, data modeling
, and
ETL/ELT pipeline development
, with a focus on performance, reliability, and scalability.

Key responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain
    Snowflake-based data warehouses and data marts
    .
  • Build and optimize
    ETL/ELT data pipelines
    to support analytical and operational use cases.
  • Implement and maintain
    data models
    (conceptual, logical, and physical) to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.
  • Write and optimize
    SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts
    for data transformation and validation.
  • Collaborate with
    data engineers, analysts, and business teams
    to define data requirements and ensure accuracy.
  • Monitor and improve
    data performance, storage usage, and query efficiency
    within Snowflake.
  • Integrate Snowflake with various
    data sources
    (APIs, cloud storage, on-premise systems).
  • Implement
    data governance, security, and best practices
    for Snowflake environments.

Required skills & qualifications:

  • 4–8 years of hands-on experience in
    data engineering
    or
    BI development
    .
  • Strong proficiency in
    Snowflake architecture
    , performance tuning, and data sharing concepts.
  • Expertise in
    SQL
    (complex joins, window functions, query optimization).
  • Solid understanding of
    data modeling
    concepts — star/snowflake schemas, normalization, and dimensional modeling.
  • Experience building
    ETL/ELT pipelines
    using tools such as
    Informatica, dbt, Airflow, Talend, or Azure Data Factory
    .
  • Familiarity with
    cloud platforms
    (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and
    data integration frameworks
    .
  • Excellent
    problem-solving, analytical, and communication
    skills.

Good to have:

  • Experience with
    Python
    or
    Spark
    for data transformation and automation.
  • Knowledge of
    data governance
    and
    security frameworks
    .
  • Familiarity with
    version control systems (Git)
    and
    CI/CD pipelines
    for data workflows.
  • Exposure to modern
    BI tools
    such as
    Power BI, Tableau, or Looker
    .
