Overall Purpose of The Job

Assisting IHM team in monitoring and verifying items in Purchase Orders (PO) in Purchasing Module, Shipsure.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks

  • Efficiency in completion of tasks and targets.
  • Navigating Shipsure for monitoring and verifying items in PO and to check if it contains hazardous material.
  • Planning and organized filing of data from Purchasing module in Shipsure for vessels.
  • Recording and maintaining data in respective folders.
  • Monitoring E-mails on Outlook on regular basis.
  • Assisting Project manager in the creation of IHM Maintenance plans and daily duties.
  • Maintaining track sheets for Weekly reports for smooth operations.
  • Contributing towards achieving Team goals and objectives.

Essential

  • Very good understanding of finance and process good analytical skills.
  • Should be a Marine Engineer, sailing experience will be an added advantage.
  • Good knowledge of computer application
  • Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office and Accounting systems.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills.
  • The highest personal integrity standards
  • A positive outlook and be self-motivated to develop and succeed.
  • A very good command of the English language both written and oral.
  • Ability to deal with multi-task workload
