JOB DESCRIPTION
As part of the ongoing evolution of our core product lines and an increase in custom projects, we are initiating a QA team to support the critical qualification phase of our development cycle.
We are looking for a
QA Lead
with 7–10 years of experience in software quality assurance, manual testing, and API testing, who can
lead QA efforts across multiple projects
. The ideal candidate brings strong testing expertise, leadership capabilities, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality of deliverables across a portfolio of projects while mentoring junior QA team members.
EXPERTISE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Lead QA efforts
across multiple concurrent projects, ensuring consistency in quality standards and processes. - Test Strategy and Planning: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement test strategies, ensuring comprehensive coverage of all product functionalities
- Test Execution: Design, develop, and execute manual test cases for software and multiplatform applications, maintaining high quality standards. Perform
API testing
using tools like
Postman
,
SoapUI
, etc. - Defect Tracking: Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking systems such as JIRA or Bugzilla, ensuring effective communication with development teams for prompt resolution.
- Continuous Improvement: Engage in root cause analysis and suggest improvements to enhance product quality and testing efficiency. Drive process improvements and actively contribute to the evolution of QA methodologies and tools.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, developers, junior QAs and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on testing objectives and timelines.
- Documentation: Produce and maintain detailed test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test results

ensuring clarity and accessibility. - Track and report test results, bugs, and overall QA metrics to stakeholders.
- Mentor and guide junior QA engineers, promoting best practices in testing and quality assurance.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 7–10 years
of experience in software QA, with a strong focus on manual testing and API testing. - Proven
leadership experience
, including leading QA teams or being the point of contact across multiple projects. - Proficiency in
testing methodologies
, QA processes, and tools. - Strong hands-on experience with
API testing tools
(Postman, SoapUI, etc.). - Solid knowledge of
SQL
and data validation techniques. - Exposure to
API automation
tools and scripting is a strong plus. - Familiarity with test management tools like
JIRA

TestRail
,
Zephyr
, etc. - Excellent
analytical and problem-solving skills
with attention to detail. - Strong
communication skills
– able to clearly present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences. - Ability to thrive in a
fast-paced, team-oriented, and multi-project environment

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):
- Experience working in
Agile/Scrum
development environments. - Experience with version control and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of automation frameworks and scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, or Java).
