Join HP's global Fraud Risk Management team as a Data Science Engineer, where you'll help shape the future of fraud detection using cutting-edge AI and data science. This role reports to the Senior Director of Fraud Risk Management and offers the opportunity to collaborate with experts worldwide, drive innovation, and make a measurable impact on HP's fraud risk and business outcomes. As a hands-on technical expert, you'll be part of a dynamic, forward-thinking team with strong support for professional growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize scalable data solutions using advanced coding and modern data engineering tools.
• Design, build, and maintain the fraud team's data infrastructure, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with analysts, data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Implement data governance best practices for quality, stewardship, and security.
• Coordinate cyber security and data privacy approvals for analytics and AI products.
• Drive innovation by evaluating and integrating emerging AI and data science technologies into fraud detection and prevention workflows.
• Deliver actionable insights through compelling data visualizations and dashboards that influence decision-making.
• Identify and evaluate new data sources, technologies, and strategic partnerships to enhance fraud detection capabilities and business value.
• Maintain and enhance the case management system, including user access controls and feature development.

Education & Experience Recommended

• Four-year or Graduate Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Statistics/ Mathematics, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.

• Typically has 7-10 years of work experience, preferably in data analytics, data engineering, data modeling, or a related field.

Preferred Certifications

• Desired: AI & ML Project Management Professional (CPMAI) certification.
• Desired: Data Management Professional (CDMP) certification.
