Job Summary:

We are looking for a
Data Analyst cum Manager
with a strong background in
fabric and apparel operations
who can efficiently manage and analyze data while leading a team of
fashion designers and merchandisers
. The ideal candidate should have excellent analytical, managerial, and communication skills to bridge the gap between creative, technical, and operational teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to fabric sourcing, production, and merchandising operations.
  • Prepare and maintain
    MIS reports, cost analyses, and performance dashboards
    for management.
  • Coordinate closely with the
    fashion design, merchandising, and production teams
    to streamline workflow and improve efficiency.
  • Lead and guide a team of
    fashion designers and merchandisers
    , ensuring alignment with business goals and timelines.
  • Monitor fabric quality, consumption, wastage, and vendor performance through data insights.
  • Support management in
    forecasting, demand planning, and cost optimization
    using data-driven insights.
  • Liaise with external vendors and internal teams to ensure smooth operations and communication flow.
  • Collaborate with IT/ERP teams for data management and process automation.
  • Present analytical findings and recommendations clearly to management for informed decision-making.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in
    Textile Engineering, Fashion Management, Data Analytics, or Business Administration
    .
  • 5–10 years of relevant experience in
    data analysis, MIS, or operations
    within the
    fabric, apparel, or textile industry
    .
  • Strong understanding of
    fabric types, textile processes, garment construction, and merchandising operations
    .
  • Proven experience in
    team management
    , especially handling
    fashion designers and merchandisers
    .
  • Proficiency in
    MS Excel, Power BI, or Tableau
    for reporting and analytics.
  • Strong
    communication, coordination, and leadership
    skills.
  • Familiarity with
    ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
    is preferred.
