Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and schedule dispatch activities based on delivery orders and operational requirements.
  • Coordinate with warehouse, logistics, and transport teams to ensure timely dispatch and delivery of goods.
  • Allocate vehicles and drivers based on route efficiency and shipment priority.
  • Maintain accurate records of dispatches, vehicle logs, driver reports, and delivery confirmations.
  • Track and monitor real-time movement of vehicles to avoid delays and address any route issues.
  • Communicate with customers to provide updates on delivery schedules, delays, or rescheduling.
  • Handle and resolve customer or driver queries related to dispatch or delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, transport laws, and safety regulations.
  • Report daily dispatch status to the operations/dispatch manager.
  • Optimize routes and delivery processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in dispatch, logistics coordination, or transport operations.
  • Knowledge of logistics software and dispatch tools (e.g., TMS, GPS tracking systems).
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and solve problems quickly.
  • Basic knowledge of transportation laws, documentation, and compliance standards.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15, ₹18,000.00 per month
