In this role, you have the opportunity to …

● Be a part of the team building the definitive financial services platform for the consumer community in India.

● Be responsible for developing & growing one of the first successful implementations of lending based on velocity-led underwriting in this part of the world.

● To straddle zero-to-one experiments and expanding the scope of proven projects as we focus on blitz scaling our revenue growth.

Responsibilities will include …

Functional Expertise

● In depth knowledge of filing cases in Lok Adalats, under Section 138 / 25, Arbitrations to enhance extraction from delinquent pool

● Detailed knowledge of Legal collection process in the fintech environment.

● Empanel Advocates / Law Firms for conducting legal activities

● Synchronizing with external stakeholders regarding ongoing Litigations.

● Liaising with various segment of legal entities for faster resolution of existing cases.

● Managing Legal Vendors

● Maintain Data with filing status

● Timely report to senior management the effectiveness of legal procedures Interaction

● Work closely with Internal collection teams to get the support in identifying the cases where and legal process to be initiated

● Close coordination with Central legal team to get the required authorizations to get the cases filed

● Synchronizing with external stakeholders regarding ongoing Litigations. Problem solving

● Execute legal tools for the desired resolutions.

● Research industry best practices; make recommendations accordingly.

Qualification & Experience (type & industry)

● Graduate or Post-Graduate.

● Law Graduate from a recognized University

● 5-6 years of experience in equivalent or relevant field.

Skills & know-how

● Good Analytical Skills.

● Strategic and analytical thinking

● Problem solving and decision-making skills

● Strong understanding of legal tools

● Understanding of SARFAESI, Arbitration, Section 138 & 25

● Team Player with group management skills
