The IT Manager will oversee the organizations technology infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and alignment with business goals. This role demands strong leadership, strategic planning, and hands-on technical expertise to manage systems, networks, and IT personnel effectively

Role & responsibilities

  • IT Infrastructure Management: Assist in the management and maintenance of the firm's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and hardware. Ensure optimal performance, security, and reliability of systems.
  • Technical Support: Provide second-level support to resolve complex technical issues escalated from the IT support team. Oversee the troubleshooting and resolution of hardware, software, and network problems.
  • Project Management: Support IT projects related to the real estate development business, such as system upgrades, software implementations, and technology integrations. Coordinate with vendors and stakeholders to ensure project success.
  • System Administration: Assist in the administration of key IT systems, including ERP systems, CRM platforms, and property management software. Ensure proper configuration, updates, and backups.
  • Security Management: Collaborate with the IT Manager to implement and maintain security protocols. Monitor for potential security threats and ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
  • User Training and Support: Develop and deliver training programs for staff on new technologies and systems. Provide ongoing support to ensure effective use of IT resources.
  • Vendor Management: Assist in managing relationships with IT vendors and service providers. Evaluate vendor performance and negotiate contracts to ensure cost-effective solutions.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive documentation of IT processes, configurations, and procedures. Prepare regular reports on system performance, incidents, and project progress.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor junior IT staff and support team members in their professional development. Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Candidate should have minimum of 6-8 years of experience in IT support or management. Experience in the real estate industry is advantageous.
  • Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, and security.
  • Proficiency with Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Experience with ERP and CRM systems relevant to real estate development.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects effectively.
