Job Overview:

We are looking for a skilled Electrical Design Engineer with hands-on experience in AutoCAD Electrical, Revit MEP/BIM tools, load calculations, layout design, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working on electrical systems for commercial, residential, or industrial projects.

Key Responsibilities:


• Prepare and modify
Electrical Layout Designs
using AutoCAD


• Perform
Electrical Load Balancing (ELB)
and prepare load calculations & distribution sheets


• Develop and maintain
Single Line Diagrams (SLD)


• Design Lighting Layouts, Power Layouts
, and circuiting plans


• Work on
Revit MEP / BIM
models for electrical systems


• Cable routing design, cable tray sizing, and coordination drawings


• Use tools such as
ETAP / Dialux / EPLAN
for analysis, simulations, and lighting/lux calculations


• Coordinate with
HVAC, Plumbing, Architecture, and Civil
teams for clash-free electrical integration


• Ensure adherence to project standards, regulations, and safety compliance


• Prepare BOQs, specifications, and documentation as required

Required Skills & Competencies:


• Strong proficiency in
AutoCAD (Electrical)


• Experience with Revit MEP / BIM workflows


• Familiarity with ETAP / Dialux / EPLAN


• Understanding of electrical load calculations and distribution


• Knowledge of cable sizing, protective devices, and electrical codes


• Ability to interpret architectural and MEP drawings


• Strong analytical, drafting, and coordination skills

Qualification:

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
