We're hiring a designer who thinks in systems and dreams in pixels.

VOLT IQ is building an AI Copilot for engineers—and we need someone to make it beautiful, intuitive, and unforgettable.

Role Details

Location: Bangalore, India (Full-Time, On-Site)

Experience: 3–7 years

Education: Bachelor's in Design, Visual Communication, or equivalent experience

The Opportunity

Join us as one of our
early design hires
and shape both our product experience and brand identity from the ground up. You'll work at the intersection of AI-driven product design, SaaS applications, and brand storytelling—defining how thousands of engineers will interact with their AI Copilot.

This isn't just about pushing pixels. It's about solving complex problems, building design systems that scale, and creating a brand that resonates across product, marketing, and investor touchpoints.

What You'll Do

Product Design

  • Design intuitive interfaces for web, mobile, and SaaS applications
  • Build and maintain scalable design systems and component libraries
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and polished UI flows based on user research

Brand & Visual Design

  • Define and evolve the VOLT IQ brand identity across all touchpoints
  • Craft compelling visuals, infographics, and presentation assets
  • Ensure brand consistency across product, marketing, and communications

Collaboration

  • Partner with engineers, PMs, and founders to align design with business goals
  • Champion user-first experiences across every product interaction
  • Balance creativity with practical execution in a fast-paced environment

What We're Looking For

Experience:
3–7 years in UI/UX design, brand design, or visual communication

Must-Haves:

  • Strong portfolio of SaaS applications and AI platform interfaces
  • Expert-level proficiency in Figma
  • Solid skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects)
  • Experience with design systems, typography, and brand identity
  • Track record of translating complex requirements into elegant solutions

Bonus Points:

  • Motion design or 3D capabilities
  • Experience designing for AI/tech products
  • Understanding of developer tools and workflows

  • Excellent storyteller with strong communication skills
  • Obsessive attention to detail
  • Adaptable and comfortable with ambiguity
  • Collaborative mindset with a bias for ownership
