Job Description: We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our accounting team as an Accounts Assistant. The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of accounting principles, be familiar with Tally, Excel, and Word, and possess a willingness to learn and grow in the field of accounting. Training will be provided to help the candidate get up to speed with tasks such as invoice and voucher verification, bank reconciliation, and basic GST knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accounting Support: Assist in maintaining accurate accounting records under the guidance of senior accountants.
  • Invoice & Voucher Verification: Help verify incoming invoices and vouchers for accuracy and ensure they align with company policies.
  • Bank Reconciliation: Assist with the process of comparing bank statements with company records to identify discrepancies and ensure correct financial reporting.
  • MIS & Data Entry: Enter data into financial systems, help prepare monthly reports and ensure the accuracy of financial data.
  • GST Filing: Assist with basic GST-related tasks and documentation under supervision, learning the process for tax filing.
  • Excel & Word Proficiency: Use Excel for basic data entry, maintaining spreadsheets, and generating reports. Use Word to assist with creating documents and correspondence.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field is preferred.
  • Both Freshers and Experienced candidates are eligible.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles.
  • Familiarity with Tally accounting software is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of MS Excel and MS Word.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
  • Good communication and organizational skills.
