Key Responsibilities

Data Collection and Organization: Collect, clean, and integrate data from field trials, sensors, satellite imagery, weather stations, and other agricultural data sources.

Data Analysis and Modeling: Use statistical analysis, machine learning, and crop models (e.g., DSSAT, AquaCrop) to extract key agricultural insights.

Yield and Efficiency Optimization: Analyze crop growth, soil quality, irrigation, and fertilization data to provide recommendations for improving yields and resource efficiency.

Visualization and Reporting: Create data visualizations and analytical reports to support decision-making for research teams, farm managers, or policymakers.

Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Collaborate with agricultural researchers, agronomists, environmental scientists, and engineering teams to ensure the implementation of data analysis solutions.

Agricultural Technical Support: Participate in the research, development, and application of smart agriculture, precision agriculture, and irrigation management technologies.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or above in Agricultural Science, Agronomy, Environmental Science, Data Science, or a related field;

Proficiency in data analysis tools (Python, R, SQL, Excel) and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI);

Familiarity with crop models, crop growth simulations, or agricultural decision support systems is a plus;

Strong data analysis, statistical modeling, and problem-solving skills;

Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to translate complex data into easy-to-understand reports;

A strong interest in agricultural production, sustainable agriculture, and smart agricultural technologies.
