Role Purpose

The ERP Expert will act as the
single point of contact
for all ERP-related requirements across both the office and the vessels. The role is central to ensuring that our ERP system (primarily
MariApps
) is fully utilized, processes are standardized, and users across the fleet and office are trained and supported. This position is critical for strengthening compliance, especially on
Planned Maintenance System (PMS)
, and ensuring data accuracy and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the
    primary ERP coordinator
    for ship and office users.
  • Ensure smooth ERP operations and follow up on issues until closure.
  • Conduct training sessions for new and existing users – office staff as well as ship crew.
  • Monitor
    PMS entries, compliance, and reporting
    across the fleet; highlight gaps and ensure timely corrections.
  • Support various departments (technical, crewing, procurement, accounts) to align ERP usage with internal processes.
  • Coordinate with ERP vendor (MariApps) for tickets, upgrades, and enhancements.
  • Assist in ERP rollouts and onboarding for
    new vessels
    joining the fleet.
  • Prepare reports and dashboards from ERP data for departmental and management reviews.
  • Promote ERP adoption across all levels and act as the
    go-to resource
    for user support.

Candidate Profile

  • Graduate in IT / Computer Science / Marine Engineering / related field.
  • 3–4 years' ERP experience in a ship management company
    (mandatory).
  • Strong working knowledge of
    MariApps ERP
    (preferred).
  • Familiarity with ship management processes (technical management, PMS, crewing, procurement, accounts).
  • Strong communication and training skills.
  • Proactive, analytical, and detail-oriented, with ability to follow up and close issues.
  • Capable of working independently and coordinating across multiple departments.

KPIs & Deliverables

  • ERP uptime and user support responsiveness.
  • Percentage of PMS compliance across vessels.
  • Number of successful training sessions conducted.
  • Timely closure of ERP issues raised by ship/office.
  • Quality and accuracy of ERP-generated reports for management.
  • Smooth integration of new vessels into ERP system.
