We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Operations Manager Credit Services
Business: Corporate and Instant Banking
Principal responsibilities
Responsible for ensuring all transactions are processed accurately and within agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs), maintaining high service quality for internal and external clients. Certify data integrity and take measures to provide seamless service.Independently manage the entire customer journey through various service deliveries, including:Preapproval Activities: Credit Application Creation, Financial Spreading, and Customer Risk Rating Generation.Post-Approval Activities: Creation of Lending Documentation, Limit Setup, Fund Disbursement, Loan Rollovers, and Covenant Monitoring.Collateral Management: Input, Registration, Maintenance, Renewal, and Release.Credit Administration: Reconciliation, Repayment, Pricing, Fee Setup, and Collection.Financial Support for Delinquent Commercial Customers: Handling regulatory letters, account maintenance, liaising with debt management agencies, suppressing interest and charges, and assessing financial affordability.Devise strategies for the Department in achieving business targets and efficient service management. Handle workflow management, capacity planning, and leave management to ensure smooth operations.Conduct regular internal audits, understand the operational risk framework, and ensure adherence to audit requirements. Perform operational checks and self-audits for accuracy and quality. Proactively identify risk and strengthen controls.Drive continuous improvement in service quality by reviewing and refining processes. Lead initiatives to enhance work process efficiency, resulting in cost reductions and/or increased revenue. Implement and communicate changes effectively.Stay current with all policies, processes, and procedures, and certify compliance. Complete MI and other business data requirements accurately and timely.Manage escalations and resolve complex process-related issues independently.Independently manage complex projects and assignments.Leadership & Teamwork
Ensure ongoing skill development through effective use of available tools & resources, staff training, and development.Knowledge sharing with the team members and providing necessary guidance to the new recruits & less experienced team members.Develop own knowledge and expertise, sharing with colleagues and internal customersIdentify risk and control gaps.Proven record in supporting and driving automation and improvement ideas in existing processes.Qualifications:
MBA Finance / B. Com / M. Com. (E)Strong SME knowledge and proven capability in Commercial / Global Credit and Lending Services is strongly preferred.Prior experience in Commercial Lending / Trade Services/Credit Services/Securities Processing along with relevant product and collateral knowledge. (E)Strong understanding of Group and GR Operational Risk Framework (E) Sound Accounting Knowledge. (E)Ability to speak and understand English fluently. (E)Ability to write business letters and reports. (E)Excellent prioritizing, planning, and organizing skills. (E)Knowledge of, and experience in problem-solving techniques. (E)Ability to derive insight from large amounts of data from diverse sources. (E)Decision-making based on experience, judgment, and process knowledge. (E)Knowledge/ prior experience of Middle/ Back Office activities. (E)Should be willing to work in the Any shift.Ability to learn very quickly and transfer knowledge appropriately. (E)Ability to build rapport with and relate to a wide range of people. (E)What additional skills will be good to have?
