About the Role

The Finance Manager (Fintech) is responsible for managing the company's financial planning, analysis, reporting, and compliance functions. This role ensures the company's financial health, provides insights for strategic decision-making, and oversees budgeting, forecasting, and regulatory compliance in a fintech environment.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

• Develop budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support business planning and growth initiatives.
• Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to management.
• Monitor KPIs and financial metrics to evaluate the company's financial health and performance.

Accounting & Reporting

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, general ledger, and reconciliations.
• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure proper documentation and reporting for audits and tax filings.

Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management

• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards relevant to fintech operations (e.g., PCI-DSS, AML/KYC, data privacy).
• Coordinate with auditors, regulators, and internal teams to maintain financial compliance.
• Identify financial risks and implement mitigation strategies.

Cash Flow & Treasury Management

• Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and funding requirements to ensure operational stability.
• Manage banking relationships, payment processes, and investment decisions.
• Optimize working capital and financial resources to support business growth.

Strategic Finance & Decision Support

• Partner with leadership on strategic initiatives, business cases, and investment decisions.
• Provide financial insights to support product launches, partnerships, and expansion plans.
• Conduct scenario analysis and forecasting to guide short- and long-term strategy.

Team Leadership & Development

• Lead and mentor finance staff, fostering a culture of accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
• Implement and maintain finance policies, SOPs, and best practices.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• 5+ years of finance management or senior accounting experience, preferably in fintech, banking, or financial services.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Experience with financial systems, ERP software, and analytics tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Familiarity with fintech regulatory and compliance requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or CFA.
• MBA or advanced degree in finance, accounting, or business management.
• Experience managing finance teams in high-growth fintech or digital banking environments.
• Knowledge of payments, lending, digital wallets, or banking technology operations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹1,000, ₹1,200,000.00 per year
