Position: Production Officer / Executive – Oral Liquid Dosage Forms

Job Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

Batch Execution & Supervision

  • Oversee dispensing, manufacturing, and packing activities for oral liquids, syrups, drops, and nano shots.
  • Ensure accurate completion of batch manufacturing records, routine sign-offs, and strict adherence to GMP standards.

Formulation & Trials

  • Prepare and verify raw material requisitions and master formula records.
  • Conduct trial batches for new products, applying strong knowledge of APIs, excipients, their chemistry, functions, and specifications.

Documentation & Compliance

  • Execute, review, and maintain all production-related documents (BMR, packing records, in-process controls, balance verification, temperature/humidity logs, and equipment utilization).
  • Revise and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as required.

Quality & Issue Resolution

  • Monitor product output at defined stages and promptly address any deviations or process hurdles.
  • Ensure IPQA presence during line clearance and in-process quality checks.

Calibration & Maintenance

  • Coordinate with external agencies for equipment calibration.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team for preventive maintenance of production machinery.

Training & Team Handling

  • Provide training to operators and supervise their daily activities.
  • Conduct and participate in training programs for shop floor personnel and contractors, ensuring continuous skill development.

Coordination & Support

  • Collaborate with QA, maintenance, and other departments to ensure seamless synchronization of processes for quality and timely production.
