Job Description: Mechanical Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET)

Position Summary:

The Mechanical Graduate Engineer Trainee will support engineering, production, and maintenance teams by assisting in design, analysis, project execution, and process improvement activities. The trainee will undergo structured on-the-job training to develop technical skills, industry knowledge, and hands-on experience in mechanical engineering applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in mechanical design, drafting, and modeling using CAD software (SolidWorks/AutoCAD).
  • Support production and manufacturing operations, including process monitoring, parameter optimization, and troubleshooting.
  • Coordinate with senior engineers to perform root cause analysis, quality checks, and corrective actions.
  • Participate in preventive and predictive maintenance planning for mechanical equipment and machines.
  • Collect and analyze data to improve efficiency, quality, and safety of plant operations.
  • Prepare technical documents including reports, SOPs, BOMs, drawings, and project updates.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety protocols, and company policies.
  • Work cross-functionally with design, production, quality, and supply chain teams.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a fast-paced industrial environment.

Educational Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent (B.E./B.Tech – Mechanical).

Preferred Qualifications (Optional)

  • Internship or industrial training experience in manufacturing.

Work Environment

  • Manufacturing plant / workshop / design office depending on assignment.
  • Requires collaboration with multiple teams and willingness to work on shop-floor tasks in training period.

Pay: ₹12, ₹18,000.00 per month
