Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive and dynamic Assistant to Finance Manager who will support the Finance function and coordinate with multiple departments to ensure smooth operations. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in Accounts and Finance, advanced skills in Excel and MIS reporting, excellent communication abilities, and the confidence to liaise with banks and government offices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Finance Manager in day-to-day accounting, finance, and reporting activities.
  • Prepare and analyze MIS reports, dashboards, and periodic financial statements.
  • Maintain and update financial data using advanced Excel functions for reporting and analysis.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely follow-ups and completion of tasks.
  • Handle liaison with banks, auditors, and government offices for various financial and compliance requirements.
  • Support in budgeting, forecasting, and expense control initiatives.
  • Draft and review official correspondence, reports, and documents as required.
  • Monitor and ensure timely submission of statutory compliances and filings.
  • Provide operational support to ensure smooth workflow between finance and other departments.
  • Identify process gaps and suggest improvements for efficiency.
  • Take ownership of assignments and ensure timely completion with accuracy.
  • Key Requirements
  • Education: Commerce graduate (B.Com / M.Com or equivalent); additional certifications in Accounts/Finance will be an advantage.
  • Experience: 25 years in accounts, finance, or related functions.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, ledgers, and financial processes.
  • Excellent skills in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Data Analysis) and MIS/report preparation.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and a decent, professional personality.
  • Proactive approach with strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask, follow up efficiently, and work independently.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (Tally/ERP or similar).
  • Willingness to coordinate with external stakeholders and handle fieldwork when required.
