Role Description
This is a full-time role for a MRI technologist in the Product department .The MRI technologist will be responsible for fine tuning imaging protocols and give feedback to the engineering team and provide support in transitioning the system to the clients across installation sites.
Qualification
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Radiology Technology or related field.
Certification in MRI technology is preferred.
Experience Required
● 2-4 years of hands-on experience in MRI scanning in a clinical or research setting.
Responsibilities
● Clinical Image Evaluation & Feedback: Perform MRI scans on phantoms and/or volunteers as part of internal testing protocols.
● Review generated images to assess quality, contrast, noise, and artifacts, and provide structured feedback to fine-tune acquisition parameters (TR, TE, matrix size, FOV, slice thickness, etc.) to achieve clinically relevant image quality.
● Protocol Testing & Optimization: Assist in validating new scanning protocols and pulse sequences for image consistency and diagnostic value and suggest parameter tweaks based on clinical scanning experience and image interpretation knowledge.
● Client Site Installation Support: Assist the field service or installation team during MRI system setup at client sites.
● Conduct test scans, verify image quality, and provide on-site feedback to ensure the system meets performance and quality standards before handover.
● Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with the software/image processing, hardware, and system testing teams to troubleshoot and refine MRI performance.
● Documentation & Reporting: Preparation of the scanner user manual and performing clinical studies.
● System Testing & Quality Assurance: Conduct routine QA tests and support evaluation of new system builds or configurations.
Required Skills
● Familiarity with image quality parameters, MRI physics, and basic image postprocessing concepts.
● Good communication skills and attention to detail.
● Willing to travel anywhere within the country and abroad to support site handover.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹400, ₹500,000.00 per year
