About POWER NEST

POWER NEST is an early-stage startup building an AI-driven investor–founder matching platform designed to simplify and accelerate fundraising for startups and investors. The platform will leverage data intelligence, network analytics, and automation to match founders with relevant investors based on stage, sector, and goals.

We are currently in the pre-funding phase and seeking a hands-on founding engineer who is passionate about building scalable, high-impact products from the ground up.

Role Overview

As the Founding Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying the core product from scratch. You will be the technical backbone of POWER NEST — owning the full product architecture, ensuring scalability, and working directly with the founder on technology and product strategy.

This is an individual contributor role initially, requiring complete ownership of coding, architecture, and deployment with no support team until after fundraising.

A high-ownership mindset, long-term commitment, and the ability to thrive in an unstructured startup environment are critical for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and deploy the MVP of the investor–founder matching platform end-to-end.
• Design the product architecture, database structure, and infrastructure setup for scalability.
• Work across the full stack — frontend, backend, APIs, database, and cloud deployment.
• Integrate AI/ML modules and data analytics for intelligent matching and insights.
• Ensure platform security, scalability, and performance.
• Take ownership of version control, CI/CD pipelines, and dev-ops setup.
• Collaborate closely with the founder to shape the product roadmap and technical strategy.
• Evaluate and implement emerging technologies that align with product vision.
• Scale the tech team post-fundraise and transition into a leadership/VP role depending on performance and commitment.

Mandatory Requirements

• Education: Master's degree in Computer Science or related field. (Top-tier universities preferred.)
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of hands-on coding experience in full-stack development.
• Strong expertise in / Python / React / / MongoDB / PostgreSQL / AWS / GCP or equivalent stack.
• Proven ability to build, deploy, and maintain full-stack products independently.
• Experience with cloud architecture, security, and dev-ops.
• Excellent understanding of software design principles, architecture patterns, and scalability.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
• High ownership mindset with willingness to work in an early-stage, resource-constrained environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in AI/ML integration or data-driven platforms.
• Prior startup or entrepreneurial experience.
• Experience working with investment tech, SaaS, or B2B platforms.
• Familiarity with Slack, Notion, Jira, GitHub, and CI/CD pipelines.

Pay: ₹1,200, ₹2,000,000.00 per year
