Job Title: Business Development Manager - Pharmaceutical Sector- Out/ In licensing lead

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager Out/ In licensing lead to join our dynamic team . The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the licensing and out-licensing of patented and R&D assets, coupled with comprehensive exposure to sourcing and negotiations. coupled with comprehensive exposure to sourcing and negotiations. This role is critical in driving strategic partnerships and maximizing our portfolio's value in line with our business objectives.
*Key Responsibilities:*
1. *Strategic Partnerships:*
Identify and assess potential licensing opportunities for patented assets and R&D innovations.
Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including pharmaceutical companies, research institutions, and industry partners.
2. *Sourcing & Negotiations:*
Lead negotiations for licensing agreements and collaborations, ensuring favorable terms that align with the company's goals.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D and legal, to structure deals that maximize asset value and mitigate risks.
3. *Market Analysis:*
Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, potential partners, and competitive landscapes in the pharmaceutical industry.
Analyze opportunities for in-licensing and out-licensing of assets to enhance product offerings and market presence.
4. *Project Management:* - Oversee the due diligence process for in-licensing and out-licensing agreements, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Manage ongoing partnerships to ensure successful implementation and achievement of objectives.
5. *Reporting & Strategy Development:*
Prepare and present business development reports to senior management, highlighting notable opportunities and industry insights.
Contribute to the formulation of business development strategies in line with overall company direction.
*Qualifications:*
Bachelors degree in Life Sciences, Business Administration, or a related field; an advanced degree (MBA, PhD) is preferred.
5-8 years of relevant experience in business development within a multinational pharmaceutical company, with a focus on licensing.
Demonstrated expertise in negotiating licensing agreements for patented and R&D assets.
Solid understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, market dynamics, and regulatory environments.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data to inform strategic decisions.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels.

Please note that the Role will have 70% FTE on in licensing & Out licensing activities for the groups health care vertical and will also involve commercial operations in International markets including business development.
