About Project Eyeway
Project Eyeway is an initiative by Score Foundation aimed at addressing the information and resource gaps faced by the visually impaired. The project focuses on empowering individuals through access to opportunities, guidance, and advocacy for their rights through various activities such as Helpdesk calls, Podcasts, Sensitization and Awareness workshops, Radio Programmes, Research Projects, Impact stories, and outreach via social media channels.

3. JOB DESCRIPTION/ RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reporting to the CEO, the Communications Executive (CE) will drive Score Foundations advocacy and awareness efforts by creating and disseminating impactful content across social and conventional media. Focused on life with blindness, the role involves developing campaigns, impact stories, reports, and program support materials to engage stakeholders and enhance visibility. Responsible for maintaining branding consistency, conducting research, managing outreach, and supporting fundraising efforts, the CE will play a key role in bridging programmatic goals with effective communication strategies, ensuring the Foundation's mission reaches and influences diverse audiences.
Key responsibilities of the role are discussed below.
Key Job Responsibilities:
1. Content Creation and Information Dissemination:
(1) Develop and disseminate impactful communication materials focused on "life with blindness," addressing challenges, opportunities, and success stories of the visually impaired;
(2) Create and curate written, visual, and multimedia content for various conventional (e.g., brochures, reports) and social media channels to inform, educate, and inspire diverse stakeholders;
2. Awareness and Advocacy Campaigns:
(1) Design and implement communication strategies to raise awareness and advocate for societal and policy-level changes that promote the rights and inclusion of visually impaired individuals;
(2) Use social media platforms and traditional media channels to amplify advocacy efforts, ensuring consistent messaging that resonates with policymakers, organizations, donors, and the public.
3. Programmatic Communication:
(1) Provide communication support across projects, ensuring program goals are met through strategic and tactical communications;
(2) Collaborate with the leadership team and program staff to effectively bridge communication needs with project deliverables.
4. Impact Reporting and Support Materials:
(1) Develop high-quality impact stories, reports, and brochures that convey Score Foundation's goals, achievements, and the value of its work;
(2) Ensure all programmatic and fundraising communication materials are impactful, aligned with organizational branding, and tailored to target audiences.
5. Research and Outreach:
(1) Conduct research to identify emerging trends, stakeholder interests, and advocacy opportunities;
(2) Engage in targeted outreach and build relationships with donors, policymakers, and influencers to amplify the organization's communications and advocacy efforts.
6. Support to Fundraising:
(1) Draft and contribute to donor proposals, reports, and presentations, integrating data, programmatic updates, and compelling stories to build a strong case for support;
(2) Leverage communications channels to promote fundraising campaigns, drawing attention from individuals, corporates, and donor agencies.
7. Branding and House Style Consistency:
(1) Manage and maintain Score Foundation's house style, ensuring all external and internal communications reflect a consistent tone, message, and visual identity;
(2) Monitor adherence to quality and editorial guidelines across all communication outputs.
8. Event Communications and Coverage:
Support advocacy and awareness events by creating promotional materials, managing event communications, and covering activities via social media for live engagement and post-event recaps.
9. Monitoring and Impact Analysis:
(1) Use analytics tools to track the engagement and impact of communication strategies across different platforms;
(2) Provide insights for improving communication approaches and strengthening advocacy reach.
10. Other Responsibilities:
Take on additional communication-related tasks and responsibilities as required, based on the organization's evolving communications priorities.
4. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:
Qualifications:
Applicants must have a degree or diploma in Public Relations, Marketing, Communications, journalism or related field. Applicants with an appropriate combination of education, training and relevant experience, may also apply.
Experience:
(1) Minimum five years of professional writing and editing experience, including content creation in different formats;
(2) Proven experience in maintaining consistent brand messaging and enhancing brand visibility across various communication channels;
(3) Nonprofit communications experience shall be an advantage;
(4) Knowledge of local media/ PR resources with the ability to gain access to media;
(5) Basic understanding of public relations, persuasion, image and identity, and consistency of message;
(6) Excellent knowledge of English and Hindi.

(2) Proficient in drafting proposals, reports, and other professional documents;
(3) Possesses superior presentation skills, strong analytical capabilities, and excellent public speaking abilities;
(4) Excels at building and maintaining social and professional networks;

(6) Capable of meeting tight deadlines and working extended hours when necessary;
(7) Skilled at thinking outside the box to develop unique solutions;
(8) Effectively manages deadlines, time-sensitive tasks, and fosters strong team relationships in a project-focused environment
5. COMPENSATION OFFERED:
Gross compensation budgeted for the position ranges from Rs. 60,000/- to Rs. 70,000 per month. The offer made to the selected candidate shall be commensurate with qualifications, experience, and salary history.
