Job Description: Sr. Executive - Procurement

  • Job Title:Executive/Sr. Executive- Procurement
  • Reporting to: Manager - Procurement
  • Location: Mumbai
  • Minimum Qualification: Graduate in any stream
  • Desired Qualification: Diploma in Civil/Mechanical stream will be preferred
  • Required experience range: 3-4 Years
  • Targeted industry: Logistics/Supply Chain

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for procurement specifically –Infra &development and Admin procurement
  • Raising enquiries to vendors and follow up for offers
  • Preparing the comparative statements for the finalized Vendors and conducting the negotiations to choose the best quoted Vendor
  • Generating purchase orders against purchase requisitions from various departments for goods and supplies
  • Releasing the Purchase Order for the selected Vendor mentioning all specifications, terms & conditions for the supply of the product
  • Processing the invoices for the payment.
  • Follow up with finance department for timely advance and final payments.
  • Coordinating with the various department regarding their Requirement
  • Documentation of all order related correspondence, approval email & clarification for audit
  • Reconciliation of vendors orders, Vendor relationship management & co-ordination. Ensure product quality maintained at supplier end
  • Coordinating with the vendors, service providers & internal team regarding deliveries and maintaining & publishing a regular tracker
