The Section Leader is responsible for the overall safe operation and supervision of the Inbound and Outbound Warehouses to meet agreed service, cost and performance KPIs.

This is a hands-on supervisory position which will work closely alongside the Admin & Logistics Coordinator and Production teams to ensure all orders are despatched on time in full and factory needs are serviced. The role will involve operating packaging machinery, weighing and labelling the items appropriately and ensuring products are packed and transferred safely ready for distribution.

This position is also responsible for final checks on product quality, defective packaging and ensuring that all paperwork is completed as per factory and regulatory standards.

To be considered for this role, you will have:

  • A good understanding of food safety practices
  • Knowledge of HACCP and GMP
  • Forklift License
  • At least 2 years' experience in high volume chilled despatch operations
  • Order picking experience
  • Previous experience operating machinery and equipment.
  • Previous roles which required start up and shift finish operational tasks.
  • Computer literacy with experience using Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of SAP
