Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Purchase Officer with strong technical expertise in mechanical and electrical machinery parts purchasing. The ideal candidate should have hands-on knowledge of evaluating vendors, negotiating prices, and ensuring timely procurement of quality parts for production machinery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers for machinery parts (mechanical/electrical).
  • Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing to achieve cost-effective procurement.
  • Maintain and update purchase records, reports, and pricing details.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance and production teams to understand requirements and specifications.
  • Ensure timely delivery of materials to avoid production delays.

Required Skills Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in purchasing machinery parts in a manufacturing/food processing industry .
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical components used in industrial machinery.
  • Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
  • Proficiency in inventory management and procurement software/tools.
  • Good communication and analytical skills.

Education:
Diploma/Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (preferred).
