We are looking for a
Senior Test Automation Engineer
with deep expertise in
Selenium
(Web UI automation) and
Appium
(Mobile automation) to join our growing QA team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing, building, and maintaining test automation frameworks, working closely with developers, QA engineers, and DevOps to ensure high-quality releases across platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable automation test frameworks using
    Selenium
    and
    Appium
    .
  • Automate test cases for
    Web
    ,
    Android
    , and
    iOS
    platforms.
  • Collaborate with product and development teams to understand requirements, use cases, and business logic to create effective automated test scenarios.
  • Conduct
    code reviews
    of test scripts and frameworks created by other team members.
  • Integrate automated tests into
    CI/CD pipelines
    (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
  • Perform
    cross-browser and cross-device
    testing for consistent UI/UX across platforms.
  • Troubleshoot failures in automation runs and identify root causes in collaboration with developers.
  • Mentor junior QA engineers and provide guidance on best practices in automation.
  • Maintain and improve test environments, test data management, and test execution reporting.
  • Ensure proper documentation of test strategy, framework architecture, and test execution reports.


Required Skills & Experience:

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in
    test automation
    .
  • Strong expertise in
    Selenium WebDriver
    for web application testing.
  • Proficient in
    Appium
    for native and hybrid mobile application testing (Android & iOS).
  • Strong programming/scripting skills in one or more of the following:
    Java, Python, JavaScript, or Kotlin
    .
  • Experience with
    BDD frameworks
    (e.g., Cucumber, Behave).
  • Good understanding of
    REST APIs
    and API automation tools like
    Postman
    ,
    RestAssured
    , or
    Karate
    .
  • Experience in integrating tests with
    CI/CD tools
    like Jenkins, GitLab, or CircleCI.
  • Familiarity with
    version control systems
    (e.g., Git).
  • Strong understanding of
    software QA methodologies
    , tools, and processes.
  • Experience with
    test management tools
    (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr, Xray).
  • Working knowledge of
    cloud-based testing platforms
    (e.g., BrowserStack, Sauce Labs).
  • Comfortable in
    Agile/Scrum
    development environments.
