Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable APIs and backend services using FastAPI.
  • Integrate backend systems with PostgreSQL databases ensuring data integrity and performance.
  • Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate APIs with Angular or React interfaces.
  • Write clean, modular, and well-documented code.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging.
  • Ensure system security and data protection best practices.
  • Work closely with DevOps to support deployment and CI/CD pipelines.

Required Skills:

  • Strong proficiency in Python with at least 3 years of backend development experience.
  • Hands-on experience with FastAPI (or similar frameworks like Flask/Fastify).
  • Proficiency in writing SQL queries and managing databases with PostgreSQL.
  • Understanding of RESTful API design and best practices.
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of Angular or React for full-stack collaboration.
  • Familiarity with version control tools like Git.

Good to Have:

  • Experience with Docker and containerized deployments.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
  • Knowledge of ORM tools like SQLAlchemy or Tortoise ORM.
  • Unit testing and API testing frameworks (Pytest, Postman, etc.).
