SENIOR FINANCIAL ANALYST

We are hiring a mid-level Senior FP&A Analyst with experience in Software revenue, billing, and commissions. This role requires strong analytical and Excel skills, comfort working with detailed operational data, and discipline in monthly close activities.

This is an individual-contributor role, ideal for someone who has worked in FP&A or revenue operations previously and can operate independently, with clear ownership and accountability. The ideal candidate is a strong Excel power used who enjoys digging into data, cleaning it up, and finding ways to automate and streamline manual processes across systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update bookings, billings and ARR trackers. Pull and validate data across systems.
  • Support monthly FP&A cycles- reporting, forecasts, P&L, cash, headcount, and variance analysis.
  • Maintain and enhance financial models for ARR, bookings, billings, backlog, utilization, and profitability.
  • Prepare commission statements with accurate audit support.
  • Analyze license, SaaS, and services trends, identify exceptions, and explain key business drivers
  • Respond to ad-hoc data/reporting needs and assist in Board and management reporting.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Finance, Accounting, Revenue, and Sales Ops to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
  • Drive continuous improvement in forecasting accuracy, data structure, and reporting consistency.

·       Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field

    • 3–6 years of experience in FP&A or financial modeling within SaaS or software companies

    • Expert-level Excel skills — dynamic arrays, pivot tables, scenario modeling, Power Query, and VBA preferred 

    • Familiarity with NetSuite, Salesforce, Planview, or similar ERP/CRM systems 

    • Strong analytical mindset, meticulous attention to detail, and ability to handle large, messy datasets 

    • Comfortable working in a manual-data, process-building environment while pushing for automation 

    • Excellent communication skills with a proactive, ownership-driven attitude 

    • Exposure to Power BI, Python, or Google Sheets automation a plus
