Role & responsibilities

• Help design and build a large, modular Shiny application that visualizes TLFs (tables, listings, figures) from SDTM/clinical datasets.
• Develop cross-filtering, drill-downs, faceting, bookmarking, state restore, and user-level preferences.
• Add new features and modules end-to-end: scope requirements, prototype, iterate with users, and productionise.
• Run CI/CD on Github.
• Deploy/operate on Posit Connect (or Shiny Server Pro): access controls, scaling, monitoring.
• Error tracking, unit tests, UI tests, integration/performance checks.
• Implement export workflows (e.g., CSV/XLSX, PNG/PDF, RTF) with reproducible, versioned outputs.
• Add new features and modules end-to-end: scope requirements, prototype, iterate with users, and productionize.

Preferred candidate profile

• 2-5+ years building production Shiny applications in R
• Strong R fundamentals (tidyverse or ), Shiny modules/reactivity, ggplot2/plotly
• Experience with Git, code review, and automated testing
• Hands-on deployment experience with Posit Connect (or equivalent)
• Clear communication and ability to partner with non-technical stakeholders
