Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced QA Automation Engineer with mandatory hands-on expertise in Mendix testing. The ideal candidate should bring strong automation skills across Java, Selenium, Playwright, and Cypress, while being proficient in testing Mendix applications using ATS, ACR, and other Mendix-specific tools.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Java, Selenium, TestNG, and Maven.
  • Implement scalable test automation frameworks with Playwright (TypeScript preferred), Cypress, or Selenium based on client requirements.
  • Perform API testing and automation using RestAssured, Postman, and Newman.
  • Execute performance/load testing using JMeter or K6.
  • Leverage Mendix-specific tools (ATS, ACR) for functional and code quality validation.
  • Conduct end-to-end UI testing for Mendix applications using Selenium/Playwright/Cypress.
  • Integrate automation test suites into CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins.
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure test coverage and quality.
  • Debug, analyze, and report defects, ensuring high standards of software quality.

Must-Have Skills

  • Mendix testing expertise with ATS, ACR, and Mendix API validation.
  • Strong programming skills in Java with test automation frameworks (Selenium, TestNG, Maven).
  • Hands-on experience with Playwright (TypeScript), Cypress, or Selenium.
  • API testing skills with RestAssured, Postman/Newman.
  • Familiarity with performance testing tools (JMeter or K6).
  • Solid experience in CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.

Good to Have

  • Knowledge of BDD frameworks (Cucumber).
  • Exposure to Mendix low-code application development lifecycle.
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum methodology.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of professional experience in QA Automation, with a mandatory focus on Mendix applications
